Contact Policies
- I am available via text/email. I normally respond within 1-48 hours, prioritizing requests by how urgent/important the issue is and the demands on my time.
- I offer phone support by appointment. You can use the links above to make an appointment. I do recommend scheduling Zoom meetings over phone appointments because screen sharing is often very useful.
- Appointment availability. I normally have appointments available from 1 to 28 days out. However, I do not accept appointments for times when I am traveling or my son is on a school break. I am still available via text/email during these times and always travel with my computer.
- For urgent/important issues, text is the best way to let me know something needs attention. If it needs a longer explanation, you can also send an email.
- My response time for urgent issues is normally very good, but I do not guarantee a specific response time. I am only one person so this is not possible. However, my clients’ success is important to me and I will help as soon as possible if there is an urgent issue. My experience with companies offering “24/7 support” is that they hire the cheapest person they can to answer the phone 24/7 but when you have an actual issue, they make a ticket and you have to wait until Monday morning when they get a programmer in who can handle the problem. My response time for urgent issues is almost always faster than most companies AND you get someone who can actually solve your problem and is familiar with your website.
- Travel, life, etc. I always travel with my computer and cell phone and normally check work things at least once a day, even on the road. It is possible there may be rare occasions when I am without connectivity for a few days. I believe in taking my kid outside and New Mexico is not the best state for cell service. However, in the several years I’ve been running Website Tech Girl, I have never ran into an issue with a client needing something that was urgent and I was not available.
