New Websites
New websites that just work.
A new website should make your work easier, not add another thing to worry about. I build custom websites for small businesses and organizations who want something reliable, well-supported, and aligned with where they are now.
This option is a good fit whether you’re launching your first website or replacing an existing site that no longer reflects your business.
When it is time for a new website
Many people come to me because their website feels like a source of friction — outdated, hard to manage, or no longer representative of their work.
The goal of a new website isn’t just a fresh design. It’s clarity, confidence, and knowing your site is handled so you can focus on your actual work.
What you get
New website projects are designed to give you a strong foundation you can rely on.
A custom design that reflects your business and values
A site that works well on phones and tablets
Clear navigation so people can easily find what they need
Hosting and technical setup handled for you
Ongoing support once the site is live
How working together works
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all process. Every project starts with getting to know your business, your goals, and what’s been frustrating (or missing) with your current site.
From there, I guide the process step by step, explaining options in plain language and making thoughtful recommendations along the way.
Once your site launches, I stay involved. Websites aren’t “set it and forget it” tools, and long-term support is a core part of how I work.
Custom websites with long-term support
A website is software, and software changes over time.
That is why new website projects include ongoing support. I take care of updates, maintenance, and technical issues so your site continues to run smoothly and you are not left trying to find help later.
But it is not just the technology that changes. Businesses grow and shift too. Hours change, services evolve, new pages are needed, and priorities move around. Ongoing support means your website can change along with your business instead of slowly falling out of sync with it.
Most of my clients work with me for years after their site launches, and I design sites with that long term relationship in mind. You can learn more about ongoing website support here.
Kyla Bendt did a fabulous make-over for our website. We love the new, modern and user-friendly format. We really appreciated Kyla's responsiveness and on-going support at a reasonable cost. We recommend Kyla every chance we get!

Who this is for
I work with clients ranging from one person businesses to small teams and nonprofits. I am thoughtful about scope and recommendations, with an eye toward what will serve you well over time rather than pushing more than you need.
Some clients come to me knowing they need a new website. Others reach out because something feels off and they are hoping a few updates will fix it.
Sometimes, we discover together that a site has outgrown its structure or foundation. If that comes up, I will walk you through the options and tradeoffs, including whether a full rebuild makes sense.
You do not need to know ahead of time whether you need a few changes or a complete redesign. We usually figure that out during an initial conversation.
This is a good fit if you are looking for a custom website built with care, clear communication, realistic timelines, and ongoing support instead of a one time handoff.
Next steps
If you are thinking about a new website, whether you are starting from scratch or planning a full redesign, a short conversation is the best place to start.

If you’re a new business or nonprofit, I also offer a one-page website option, a simple, well-supported way to get a professional site in place.
It’s designed to be solid and functional now, with the flexibility to grow as your business does.
