Working Together

Most of my clients do not come to me with a perfectly defined plan. They are solo business owners, small businesses, or nonprofits who know their website matters, but do not want to manage it alone.

I work with organizations that want a website that is reliable, well-supported, and handled by someone they can actually reach when questions come up.

What it's like to work together

I focus on long-term relationships, clear communication, and taking care of the technical details so you don’t have to. That means:

  • You don’t need to know the “right” terminology

  • Questions are always welcome

  • I’ll explain tradeoffs and options in plain language

  • I don’t disappear after launch

We’ve enjoyed have Website Tech Girl managing our website. She developed a professional website from a website that was barely functioning. We have gotten so much more traffic with the new website. Now that the website is running, we know we can rely on Kyla to maintain it properly. We love working with Kyla, she is extremely knowledgeable and efficient in website design. We would highly recommend Kyla and Website Tech Girl for all your design and marketing needs.

Two ways to work together

New websites

This is a good fit if you’re ready for a website that reflects where your business is now — not where it was years ago.

New website projects include:

  • custom design and build

  • hosting setup

  • and long-term support once the site is live

I don’t hand off a site and walk away. Once your site is launched, I stay involved so it continues to work well as your business evolves.

Ongoing support for an existing website

This is a good fit if you already have a website, but want someone to help maintain it, fix issues, and make changes without starting from scratch.

Ongoing support can include:

  • maintenance and updates

  • fixes and troubleshooting

  • small projects and improvements

  • help understanding how things work

This works best as a long-term relationship, where I get to know your site and you don’t have to re-explain things every time.

Starting something new?

If you’re a new business or nonprofit on a tight budget, I also offer a one-page website option — a simpler, more affordable way to get a professional, reliable site up and running.

This is a good fit if you need something solid and functional now, with the option to grow later.

How I Work

I’m a good match for clients who want a reliable, long-term relationship and appreciate clear communication. I care about building systems that actually hold up over time, and about being someone you can reach when questions come up.

Next steps

If you’re not sure which option fits — that’s completely fine. We can talk it through.

The easiest place to start is a short conversation about your site and what’s been coming up for you.
